The Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center unites public, private, and community partners to ensure the safety, health and well being of abused children.

The original facility used a multi-colored, child-friendly structure to make children feel safe and comfortable.  The landscape design of the new Center, in conjunction with building elements designed by Holabird & Root Architects (uncompleted), thoughtfully balances the complexities of use within this important community space.  It succeeds in creating a stimulating, comforting, positive, and safe environment for all, while respectfully taking into account the great diversity and cultural sensitivities of those who use it.
